Short story competition
Ahead of the Ravenfest 2022 event, Poetic Justice Productions are proud to present our second annual short story competition.
Last year’s competition attracted a large number of entries from all over Scotland and we are hoping for the same this year. And no, you don’t have to live in Scotland to take part - we’ve gone global this year.
The stories should be no longer than 500 words - we did say short… - and in the style of Edgar Allan Poe, whether that be crime, mystery/suspense or horror.
There are two categories again this year: adult and under 18. And there will be a £50 prize for both winners, thanks to our media sponsors The Irvine Times. Our friends at the Times will also be publishing the winning stories online and in their illustrious print edition. And the winning entries will also be read aloud to an audience at one of our Ravenfest events this October.
The closing date for entries is October 3, 2022.
To enter, submit your stories by email to helencaitken@hotmail.com.
Good luck to all.
